Bio
Sarah Rostamo is a multimedia artist who lives and teaches in Denver, CO. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design in spring 2019. Her work is currently focused in drawing, painting, and digital media. Sarah’s work is comprised of abstract and living symbols, maps, and puzzles; not meant to be solved but experienced. The marks and spaces are organic, simultaneously growing and decaying, and imbued with a curious reverence. She focuses formally on line inspired by natural structures, written language, and ornamental design, as well as on limited depth and color palettes. In her digital work, Sarah further explores conscious, intelligent networks with a transhumanist spirit.
